This award will focus on a team or service that has improved the
quality of life for people with mental health problems, increased
safety and/or promoted the wellbeing of the general population.
In addition to the core criteria, the assessors will be looking
for evidence of:
- Addressing the mental health needs of hard-to-reach groups
- Engagement of service users and carers
- Evidence of service user and carers views, feedback and
experiences shaping the work.
- Sharing positive practice and learning about what works to help
other organisations to improve services
- Promoting social inclusion
- Promoting wellbeing and preventing mental ill health across
communities and/or the population at large
- Evidence of increased patient / user safety
