In a Nutshell: online course providing a deeper understanding of the sustainable communities agenda
This course is being funded by the Home and Communities Academy and is open to UK residents only. Each online course consists of five facilitated workshops. Each workshop runs over two weeks with participants expected to logon for a minimum of six hours per workshop. The course will help participants to:

  • Develop a real understanding of the term ‘sustainable community’
  • Explore the national and regional policy context and perspectives
  • Consider the roles, responsibilities and skills of the various organisations and individuals responsible for delivery.


NHS Performance Ratings 2008/09
The Care Quality Commission has published the NHS Performance Ratings 2008/09. The NHS performance ratings process, also known as the ‘annual health check’, is how the performance of all NHS trusts in England is assessed. The statistics are broken down by Strategic Health Authority (SHA) area.
