Information
The Healthy Places Healthy Lives programme held its first Learning Event in London on Friday 10th September.
This very successful day included a range of speakers from the NHS Institute including Bernard Crump talking from a very personal perspective about the new health landscape and Helen Bevan teaching us how to use some of the tools required to mobilise communities to act on a large scale.
Download the programme (544.00 KB).
The objectives for the day were to:
- Accelerate the delivery of our programme's work in all its locations
- Learn about the emerging health landscape
- Spread knowledge and learning of how successful interventions can be developed, measured, mobilised and spread across different partnerships;
- Learn more about knowledge and good practice in engagement and partnership working
- Facilitate networking between sites to identify successful local interventions - what is working well and what is having the greatest impact on health inequalities and partnership working;
